Short Term Rentals
Short Term Rental (STR) Permits apply to the short term rental of dwellings in districts zoned residential in the city limits. These regulations do not apply in districts in which commercial lodging is permitted. “Short Term Rental” (STR) means the rental of a dwelling unit for less than 30 consecutive days per rental period and the rental unit itself. City of Guntersville Ordinance No. 1097 explains the rules and regulations pertaining to STRs. You can download the STR packet below with instructions on the application process. For more information call (256) 571-7560.
